Today’s gluten-free products contain are what we call “white” ingredients. These “white” ingredients, i.e., white rice flour and starches: lack vitamins, minerals, flavor and fiber. In addition, these products usually have high sugar, a high glycemic index, and high sodium content, as well as leavening agents containing aluminum. Our products are different because they contain a proprietary blend of whole grain gluten-free flours, called the Bistro Flour Blend, providing flavor, vitamins, minerals, protein, and fiber. The Bistro Flour Blend is made of brown rice flour, buckwheat flour, whole grain sorghum flour, tapioca starch, organic coconut flour, and xanthan gum. This one of a kind flour blend contains 100% whole grains and only one starch, making it one of the most nutritious blends on the market. For the celiac and gluten intolerant populations, nutritious products are necessary to maintain health and rebuild nutrient deficiencies for those suffering from malabsorption.
